YOlabs Professional Web Site Design Studies:

Grimwar.com is an online card collection manager for the Magic the Gathering trading card game. The project included a massive database import of card data and images and the site was built from the ground up. Site features include easy database management tools, SEO-driven URLs, page titles and other search engine-friendly features. The site allows guests and member to use powerful search and browse functions to find cards they are looking for. Members can import their entire collection from a spreadsheet or can upload cards individually. Members can also build decks, card wishlists and customize their profile page. The last phase of this project will include implementation of the Amazon API to show relevant, dynamic advertising.

Pharmaca.com is an integrative Pharmacy based in Boulder, CO. YOlabs worked with an online marketing company to deliver all of the backend programming and databasing components to drive the site. We did not do the graphic design for this site, instead, we worked with a marketing partner, turning Pharmaca-produced design into a valid CSS-powered site. The site includes a feature-rich CMS that allows their various stores and corporate offices to update the site quickly and easily!

Golden Eagle Homes needed a site that would showcase their plans and homes and allow someone without web knowledge to create entries for new homes, plans and lots. They also needed a corporate identity that would convey the spirit of their company. YOlabs worked with Golden Eagle Homes to develop a database-driven website that satisfied their business needs. The interface we built allows them to upload photos, plans and information so the site scales to their need. Markee Press is a Cheyenne publishing company that was started by an author to publish her own work. The author needed a site that explained her book and offered a few methods for visitors to place orders. YOlabs worked with the author to develop a site that matched the Markee Press identity and promoted the book.

SyndicateX is a small portal aimed at the video gaming community. The site incorporates database-driven tools such as an advertising content server, an email list builder and a news blog. YOlabs developed these custom tools to fit the unique needs of the site.
